A Little Information About Myself—
Although I have always been creative, in 2005 I took creativity seriously and graduated from The University of Wisconsin Green Bay with a BA in Studio Art and minor in Graphic Design. I have been active in Art since. I have taught Drawing classes and Oil Painting, and was privileged to teach a printmaking workshop at Peninsula School or Art in Fish Creek, WI. My artworks were regularly exhibited at various galleries in Northeast Wisconsin. In addition, I loved teaching oil painting classes at my home studio. From September 2017-September 2019, I was blessed to spend two wonderful years in a small town in Southland, New Zealand, joining the Artists of Southland and continuing my painting and artistic endeavors. Fiber arts took precedence over printmaking due to the abundance of sheep fiber, and the local Otautau Patchworkers Club was a block from my residence.
Since returning to the States, my husband and I have settled in Grand Junction, CO, where I continue to spend my time painting, printmaking, weaving, spinning and having a great time exploring all that the Western Slope has to offer!
